The Laboratory
Our research is focused on the fabrication, characterisation and analytical applications of structurally miniaturised amperometric sensors. In order to design chemically selective and more sensitive interfaces, studies on the rational manipulation of the molecular composition of the electrode surface are carried out. Investigations on the surface population, chemical composition and structure of the material attached to the surface, as well as the dynamics of the electrodic process, are performed to understand the reactivity and to construct more efficient sensors.
