The Chemistry Program offers a flexible program that allows students to select courses tailored to their individual background and research interests. Students also serve as a teaching assistant.

Some specific courses are required for the degree:

- Basics of Safety in Chemistry and Biochemistry Laboratories, Ethics and Responsibly in Research (2 CUs)

- Advanced Topics in Chemistry I, II, III and IV (2 CUs each): for MSc candidates (Topics I and II), for PhD candidates that hold a MSc degree (Topics III and IV) and for PhD candidates (Topics I, II, III, and IV).

Each student, with the advice of their supervisor, will pursue an individual program of advanced study, which is pertinent to their research interests. In general, candidates are expected to have completed at least  30, 40 and 50 CUs for MSc, PhD (after MSc) and PhD.
