imagem colada 241x241

Research projects supported by FAPESP Multi-User Equipment (EMU 2019/00811-5)

FUJIFILM Dimatix has leveraged its piezoelectric inkjet technology and MEMS fabrication processes with its extensive inkjet product and system knowledge to produce a materials printer specifically designed for R&D and feasibility testing.

The Dimatix Materials Printer (DMP) is a cost-effective, easy-to-use precision multiple materials deposition system.

Ideal applications for the materials printer include:

- Material and fluid development and evaluation
- Prototype and sample generation
- Fluid and substrate interactions evaluation
- Product development
- Optimization and evaluation of digital patterns - Deposition of biological fluids including cell patterning, DNA arrays, proteomics.

INSTRUMENT USAGE RULES
1 - The instrument will be operated only by properly trained users. The training will be scheduled periodically or on demand. Training dates will be posted online and send by user mail lists. The lab managers and group students will be available occasionally to assist users with instrument operation.
2 - Users are responsible for equipment. The support provided is only technical and any other form of aid should be established in the form of mutual cooperation arrangements between the parties.
3 - Instrument request proposals must be submmited in a specific form. The proposal should describe any equipment and support necessary to perform the proposed experiment, especially when these are not already available in the laboratory.
4 - The management committee will review the proposal in terms of their potential for success and will get in contact to schedule the use.
5 - The current management committee is chaired by Prof. Thiago Regis Longo Cesar da Paixão and Prof. Mauro Bertotti, Prof. Erick Leite Bastos, Prof. Claudimir Lúcio do Lago and Prof. Lúcio Angnes and the lab manager Maria Cristina Rodrigues Machado as internal IQ-USP members and Prof. William Reis de Araujo, from UNICAMP, as external member.

Research projects supported by FAPESP Multi-User Equipment (EMU 2023/XXXXX-X)

SPELECRAMAN is an instrument for performing spectroelectrochemical Raman measurements. It combines in only one box a laser class 3B (785 nm ± 0.5), a bipotentiostat/galvanostat and a spectrometer (wavelength range 787 – 1027 nm and Raman shift 35 - 3000 cm-1) and includes a dedicated spectroelectrochemical software that allows optical and electrochemical experiments synchronization.
