Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from FCT-UNESP (2015), Presidente Prudente. Ph.D. in Chemistry (2019), under the supervision of Professor Ana Maria Pires, from the graduate program in Chemistry at IBILCE/UNESP, with an internship at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, supervised by Professors Luis Dias Carlos and Rute A. S. Ferreira. Completed postdoctoral research at IQ-Unesp, Araraquara (2020), under the supervision of Professor Marian Rosaly Davolos, at the University of Ottawa, Canada (2023), under the supervision of Professor Muralee Murugesu, and at IQ-Unicamp (2024), under the supervision of Professor Fernando Aparecido Sigoli. Received the Young Researcher Award from the Brazilian Chemical Society and RSC in 2024.
His current research interests include:
(i) Single-molecule magnets based on lanthanide(III) ion complexes;
(ii) Coordination chemistry of lanthanide(III);
(iii) Solid-state lighting;
(iv) Control of energy transfers and excitation mechanisms for modulating luminescence in crystalline materials or complexes.
